Welcome!
Welcome! This is where I will be blogging about our homeschool adventures as we begin this new season. This year I will have almost five year old (J) in kindergarten, three and a half year old (M) joining in for some things, one and a half year old (C) keeping us company and we're adopting a new baby (L) so we don't know when she'll come home to spice things up!
The primary reason we are choosing to homeschool is so that we have more time to pour into our children throughout their waking hours. I think there are many benefits to homeschooling and I also acknowledge and respect that it is not the right choice for every family. It's just the right choice for our family so we are boldly pursuing it.
To those who would worry that we are sheltering our children too much, rest assured that they are not being sheltered, rather cultivated in the greenhouse of family until they are strong little plants ready to go out into the world.
Sincerely,
Ashia
